(if you have a relevant quote, click here and send it to be posted)

"The only rules that really matters is these . . .

What a man can do and what a man can't do!"

Captain Jack Sparrow

"Hawkeye . . . we have a problem!"

First Officer Scott

(Announcing that water was 5' deep in the bilge and the engine was underwater)

"Do not stand on the dock and scream if you miss us because we are not turning back !"

First Officer Scott

(admonishment to Pyrates who show up late for attack on Key West)

"But . . . Why the RUM?"

Captain Jack Sparrow

(Upon seeing that the governors daughter was burning his cache of supplies)

"I started a band because it was exciting.  Besides, I couldn't be a pirate - They aren't around anymore."

                                Jimmy Buffet (CMT 60 minutes)

Note to Jimmy! Think outside the boat man! We're not constrained by reality.

"Two essential elements for a Pyrate are a good cutlass and a wench with low expectations."

A spontaneous observation from the strange mind of our own Pyrate, Squeally

Interested in becoming a Choctawhatchee Pyrate?

If you have a happy, cheery, adventurous disposition and want to participate in a little pirate fantasy, consider joining us.  We're still accepting applications for our core group of Choctawhatchee Pyrates. If you're interested, have the above qualifications, and can take a little time off at least once a year, Click here to inquire. Keep in mind that we're a pretty exclusive group and don't take grumps, complainers, or ne'er do wells. Also, remember that this is a working pirate ship. Everyone will have a job and is expected to do it. Rules are strictly enforced by  Thunder on the orders of the First Officer.
